The Georgian side allowed Turkey to construct a mosque in the city of Batumi.

Georgian Culture Minister Nika Rurua told PirWeli news agency they should do it to save Georgian culture monuments located in the territory of Turkey, Georgia Online reported.

As to an agreement, Rurua said the terms will be made public after it is signed.

The Turkish and Georgian governmental commissions formed a protocol according to which Turkey plans to renovate three and build one mosques in Georgia, whereas the Georgian side gets an opportunity to restore 4 ancient churches in the territory of Turkey.
