Lernik Aleksanyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary faction, does not share the idea of boycotting the PACE Subcommittee on Nagorno-Karabakh.
At his Feb. 3 meeting with journalists he said that there is no point in boycotting the subcommittee unless it impedes the subcommittee’s work.
A boycott can be effective if declared by a great power. Since the committee has resumed its activities, Armenia had better be involved in it and try to present its approaches as subcommittee member.
