Armen Yeghiazaryan, 34, a worker of Deno Gold Mining Company died in Shahumyan mine, in Kapan city, southern Armenia.

The accident happened on February 8, at 5:00 a.m, Ecolure reports. The rapid reaction task took Yeghiazaryan to Kapan city hospital.

An investigation is underway, the company said in a statement.

The Canadian-owned company Deno Gold Mining is mining molybdenum and other non-ferrous metals in Kapan (south of Armenia).
