Draft resolution on peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict was registered in Lithuanian Parliament signed by 48 MPs, Seimas spokesperson Jolanta Anskaitienė told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to her, if a resolution or any legal document is signed by 47 MPs (1/3 of parliament members), it is considered by the Seimas at the request of draft bill’s initiators.

“It means the draft resolution is likely to be considered during the spring session which opens on March 10. Everything depends on the initiators of the project,” she said.

Anskaitienė also noted that during her visit to Azerbaijan she spoke up for peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and stressed importance of non-use of force.
