Coordinating Council for Protection of Javakheti Armenians Rights officially joins the petition spread by the Armenian bloggers calling to stop discrimination of Armenians’ rights, said the head of the council Shirak Torosyan.  

Armenian MP stressed they have signed the petition and will assist in spreading it. “We intend to collect many signatures and hope for solidarity of the Armenian parties on the issue,” he said.

This February Armenian bloggers drew up a petition regarding protection of rights of Javakheti Armenians.

Javakhk (Georgian name – Javakheti) is an Armenian-populated part of Georgia’s southeastern Samtskhe-Javakheti province.
