The Armenian Diaspora is a major factor linking the West and the East, which may greatly contribute to Armenia`s economic development, Mr. Guillermo Tolosa, Resident Representative in Armenia, International Monetary Fund (IMF), said at a roundtable discussion organized by the Alternative research center.

According to him, Armenia needs to capitalize on the Diaspora`s assets and employ them to its benefit.
Responding to a question, he said that the Armenian Diaspora`s potential is not properly used.

The Armenian Diaspora is one of the major factors that may give impetus to the Armenian economy, Tolosa said.
