Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance of Georgia and Law Institute of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia signed a cooperation memorandum.

Georgian Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance Khatuna Kalmakhelidze, Director of the Training Centre of the Ministry Nato Gugava, Director of the Armenian Institute of Law Ashot Hayrapetyan, representatives of the Armenian Embassy in Georgia and other officials attended the signing ceremony.

The memorandum provides for 3-year cooperation in training and retraining of personnel of the penitentiary system in the following areas: organization of joint conferences, roundtables, seminars, workshops, lectures, consultations, joint researches, Georgia Online reports.
