Russian football fans involved in scuffle released

Russian passengers involved in a scuffle on Moscow-Yerevan plane were released on their own recognizance, police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They were charged with public peace disturbance.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Russian passengers came to blows on Moscow-Yerevan plane, using swear words. According to the police, they were Russian football fans. During the flight they quarreled, cursed and hit each other, causing bodily injuries. Six citizens of the Russian Federation were detained.

Armenia vs. Russia EURO-2012 qualifying match will take place on Saturday in Yerevan.
