YEREVAN. - Vanadzor city Hospital #1 informed the police on Monday that 49-year-old Karen Davtyan, the well-known painter Kapo, had been brought to hospital with rib fractures.
The traffic policemen found out a traffic accident occurred near Building 81, Tigran Mets St., at 9:40 p.m.
The photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that a Volkswagen Tuareg, driven by 24-year-old Vladimir Ispiryan, smashed into Karen Davtyan’s VAZ-2107.
The painter was taken to hospital where he died at about 7:00 a.m., Apr. 19.
Vladimir Ispiryan is son of Gagik Ispiryan, Head of the Investigation Division, Lori regional police department.
