Azerbaijan and Turkey have reached final agreement on exports and transit of gas, said Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz.

The countries will sign several agreements on gas sale and gas transit, as well as exports from Shah Deniz 2 gas field, he said at a press conference following the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Natik Aliyev.

The Minister noted that under the agreement Turkey will purchase 6 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas from Shah Deniz 2 field and provide a 10 billion cubic meters transit to Europe from the same field.
