YEREVAN. - A total of 11 guides from Armenia and Georgia attended the first regional trainings for guides in Yerevan.

Three Armenian guides accredited by World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFRGA) taught lessons. The participants of the trainings will get certificate, Vice President of WFRGA told a press conference in Yerevan on Saturday.

According to Mekhak Apresyan, Head of Tourism and Regional Economic Development at Armenian Economy Ministry, a large influx of tourists is observed in Armenia and guides are in demand in the country.
