YEREVAN. - Yerevan city Mayor Karen Karapetyan discussed perspectives of the development of tourism sector with representatives of 90 organizations working in the field.

Karapetyan stressed his readiness for cooperation with all interested parties. He added that the unique historical and other features of Yerevan should be highlighted by the private companies specialized in the field, informs the City Hall press service.

“Yerevan has every opportunity to represent itself in the best light, but it faces the hinder of poor organization and strategy. In fact, Yerevan is an unknown brand in the world and I think you carry the vast portion of blame in this respect. We are open to discuss each constructive proposal that will help to boost the field,” said the mayor.
