YEREVAN. – The number of Internet users increased six times over recent two years, said Manuk Vardanyan, Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication.
One third of Armenia’s population has Internet access, he said speaking at the 44th meeting of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications held in Yerevan.
Besides, Internet tariffs were cut 60 times, Vardanyan said.
The Minister assured that government’s strategy has justified itself and the evidence thereof are achieved results.
