According to the information at Hraparak newspaper’s disposal, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and representative of the Armenian Diaspora attended the meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide under Ottoman Empire in 1915. During the meeting, Leader of “Heritage” party Raffi Hovannisyan asked Serzh Sargsyan whether it is possible to recall Armenia’s signature from Armenia-Turkey protocols. Serzh Sargsyan urged not to start a discussion, but Hovannsiyan insisted, saying it is important for participants to know whether Armenia will recall its signature. “I do not rule out anything,” Sargsyan stressed.
In a conversation with the newspaper, Raffi Hovannisyan confirmed the information. “It is a good start that withdrawal of Armenia’s signature from the accords is not ruled out,” he noted.
