YEREVAN. – Armenian citizens are primary consumers and users of Opera Mini browser. Overall, Armenia is number one market in terms of volume, said Chief Standards Officer of Opera Software Charles McCathieNevile to Armenian News-NEWS.am-Innovations.

In Armenia the average number of pages visited via Opera Mini is estimated at 1500, while in many other countries the figure does not reach 1000. Around 75 percent of cell phones in Armenia use Opera Mini and in this respect we need to research the priorities of Armenian market, said McCathieNevile, whose delegation arrived in Yerevan to join BarCamp 2011 on June 4-5.

Opera Mini software was created for cell phones, smartphones and personal digital assistants.
