YEREVAN. - Four Armenian servicemen were hospitalized after a military truck overturned in Syunik region, southern Armenia on Friday.

An unknown made a distress call to Armenian Police that a military truck crashed near Gorhayk village in Armenia. The officers of Sisian police department arrived at the scene and found out that UAZ ran off the roadway and overturned, photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The driver Gurgen Areyan, 20, as well as officers of Armenia’s Defense Ministry Sergey Simonyan, 29, Artyom Sargsyan, 29 and Rustam Hakobyan, 34 were transferred to Aghitu military hospital.

An investigation is underway.
