Council of Europe’s activities are very useful: we learn not to answer by intolerance to intolerance, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said on Wednesday answering questions of the PACE delegates in Strasbourg.

“For instance, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not been solved for years. In my capacity as a defense minister I have been speaking about resolution of the conflict by mutual concessions for 15 years. Have you heard this from Azerbaijani officials? This is what I mean when speaking of intolerance. I highly appreciate the statement made by U.S., French and Russian Presidents in Deauville which indicates we should prepare people for peace, not war. We have not been preparing our people for war for 20 years,” he said.
