BAKU. - President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday in Baku.

“I hereby pass you the proposals of the President of Russian Federation. We are hopeful that you will provide us with your comments after examining them,” said Lavrov.

The letter contains proposals on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution that was recently discussed in the format of three presidents and representatives of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs: Russia, USA and France. 

Lavrov arrived in Baku from Yerevan. In the Armenian capital, Lavrov conveyed a message from Russian president to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
