YEREVAN. – The average price for 1 sq. m. is AMD 256,800 (about $700) for apartments in Yerevan as of June 2011. Deflation of 9.2 percent compared to the same period of last year, monthly analytical results of the real estate cadastre of Armenian government state committee informs.

Apartment prices are AMD 441,000 ($1190) for 1 sq. m. in Yerevan downtown, deflation of 7.7 percent compared to last year. Other districts of Yerevan register the following prices of the real estate for 1 sq. m. – apartment or house in Arabkir region costs AMD 342,000 ($925), deflation of 13.5 percent, real estate in Kanaker-Zeytun costs AMD 262,700 ($710), deflation of 10.7 percent, and Nor Nork house will cost AMD 223,800 ($605), deflation of 9 percent.
