YEREVAN. - The second competition day of New Wave 2011 international contest of young singers was held in Jurmala on July 28.

Armenia’s representative Erik was the fifth to perform. He sang  “Your traces” by Arno Babajanyan.  He ranks 8 in the standings with 227 points.

A total of 16 singers from 13 countries are attending the song contest.

Among jury members are Russian celebrities Igor Krutoy, Raymond Pauls, Yuri Antonov, Igor Nikolaev, Valeri Meladze, Layma Vaykule, Philip Kirkorov, Leonid Agutin, Valeria, Konstantin Meladze and Max Fadeev.
