YEREVAN. - Armenia registered 12.8% industrial growth in the first half of 2011- the second highest rate among the CIS states, reads the report issued by CIS Interstate Statistical Committee.

The leader among CIS states is Kyrgyzstan with 13.9% industrial growth as compared with the same period last year. The next is Belarus with 11.5% growth followed by Ukraine with 8.7% and Uzbekistan with 6.8%. A 5.8% industrial growth was registered in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

Decline in industrial growth is registered in Azerbaijan (1.8%).

On average industrial production went up by 6% in CIS states over the recent six months as compared to the same period in 2010. Information on the dynamics of industrial production  in Moldova and Turkmenistan is not available.
