YEREVAN.- Deployment of international peacekeepers in the Karabakh conflict zone is vague and unclear, military expert Davit Jamalyan told journalists on Friday.

“Who will be part of these forces, where they will be deployed, what functions will perform? No one knows anything. On the other hand, we should always remember the example of Yugoslavia. What have “peacekeeping forces” done there?” said Jamalyan.

The expert also reminded of Iran which strongly opposes such developments.

“Deployment of peacekeepers will bring anything but not peace to the region,” the expert concluded.
