YEREVAN.- Armenian sculptor Sevak Grigoryan, who lives in Italy, will shoot a film about the Armenian Genocide, he told journalists on Saturday. The main heroes of the film will be children’s sculptures.

Yerevan’s “Bureaucrat” bookstore will host an exhibition of Sevak Grigoryan. Graphic sculptures will be presented in the same style, but on different subjects. Dynamic, expressive works telling about genocide, images of saints and animals will be exhibited. According to Grigoryan, who is also a member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia, he presented the genocide through children’s images.

Asked by the Armenia News - NEWS.am correspondent whether it is difficult to work far from the Motherland, the sculptor said, “I live mainly in Italy, but it does not mean that I forgot Armenia, where I was born. Unfortunately, one has to live where he is working.”

Sculptor’s exhibitions previously were held in Rome, France and Denmark.
