BAKU. - Life in Nakhchivan became unbearable, a law enforcement officer in Nakhchevan Autonomous Republic Hekimeldostu Mehdiyev stated in an interview with Musavat newspaper.

He stressed unprecedented rise in prices has been registered in the republic. The authorities do not allow importing food products from Turkey and taxmen even fine for 1kg meat.

“For this reason, people go to work abroad,” Mehdiyev said, adding at presently funds are raised from employees at budgetary administrations, which led to major unrest.
