YEREVAN.- The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) suspends participation in the government-opposition dialogue, ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan told a press conference on Friday.
“The ANC will return to talks only after measure of restraint against ANC activist Tigran Arakelyan is changed,” he said.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, the delegation of the Armenian National Congress and the working group of the ruling coalition did not meet on Friday.
The sides were to hold the 7thmeeting at Governmental Reception Hall. The representatives of the ruling coalition were waiting for the ANC representatives. However only Samvel Abrahamyan came to the meeting, saying the ANC considered it inexpedient to come to the meeting.
