YEREVAN.- Two servicemen were detained in murder case of Karabakh soldier Aghasi Abrahamyan.

A conscript and doctor of the military unit were detained, a source told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Aghasi Abrahamyan, 19, was taken to hospital unconscious last Friday. He died in hospital an hour later. His mother claims he had many wounds on his body, which speaks of being severely beaten.

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said experts found traces of violence on his body and criminal case was opened.

“It is not a secret, list of people who might beat him is revealed. All the perpetrators will be punished,” Minister said.
