PARIS. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday met French PM Francois Fillon in Paris.

The sides welcomed the growth of French investments in the Armenia economy, President’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Cooperation in energetic system is of great importance including French companies integration into Armenia’s new nuclear power plant construction. French PM stated that a group of French experts and officials will visit to Armenia to discuss cooperation prospective in the scene.

Sides also touched upon the road construction sphere, including possibilities of integration of French companies in the North-South highway construction works.

Sargsyan and Fillon also discussed issues related to the Armenia-EU relations. Strengthening of high-level political and economic relations, possibilities of deepening mutual cooperation in educational and cultural spheres were also discussed.

Fillon stressed that French President’s upcoming visit to Armenia will strenghten various spheres of cooperation including new economic projects.
