Armenian Central Bank to issue new 1,000 dram bills

YEREVAN. – Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) will issue new 1,000-dram ($2.71 US)-denomination bills with a new look.  

The 2011-issue banknotes’ design, images, colors, and dimension are primarily same as the 2001-issue bills, but they have certain differences, CBA Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.      

The new banknote has 2 protective inner lines.
