BERLIN. - Former world champion in professional boxing IBF category Abraham was stopped in Berlin for speeding.

Abraham drove his Ferrari in the Berlin highways at the speed of 230km/h, setting up a record for that part of road. The maximum permissible speed on the roads is 80 km/h.

Boxer excused himself by explaining that he was trying to get to the awarding ceremony in time. The police allowed the athlete to continue the journey but escorted the car to make sure Abraham will no longer violate traffic regulations.

For the recent incident, Abraham faces a deprivation of driving license for three months and a fine of 1360 Euros, reports Lenta.ru.
