BAKU. – AIBA World Boxing Championships 2011, being held in Baku, Azerbaijan—which serve as first international Olympic qualifier for the London Olympics—has wrapped up for Armenia’s national team.

In his quarter-final match on Wednesday, the team’s former world silver medalist, world cup holder, and European champion Andranik Hakobyan (75 kg) stepped into the ring with Romania’s Bogdan Juratoni, but he lost to his opponent on scores. 

Andranik Hakobyan, however, is Armenian National Team’s sole boxer who qualified, in Baku, for the London Olympics.
