YEREVAN. – Numerous consumers in Armenia are calling iSTORE and expressing their condolences over the passing of Apple Inc.’s founder Steve Jobs, iSTORE’s authorized receiver Erik Mardoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

“Apple’s numerous users and ordinary citizens are calling the store and noting that Steve Jobs’ loss had moved them very deeply,” Mardoyan said, adding that iSTORE likewise expresses its sympathy.     

And reflecting on probable market response to Jobs’ death, he stated: “So far, no substantial change is observed in the market, and everyone, including Armenia, is waiting.” Erik Mardoyan also added that he believed there would not be a huge negative response, because Steve Jobs was able to form a very strong team which will continue to offer innovative and revolutionary products to consumers.      

Apple Inc.’s founder and billionaire Steve Jobs passed away on Wednesday night at the age of 56. Even though he was one of the world’s greatest businessmen, he could not defeat cancer.

Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in Mountain View, California. Jobs spent his childhood and teenage years with Paul and Clara (Hakobyan) Jobs, who had adopted him.
