WASHINGTON. – Chicago Marathon 2011 contestant Amber Miller did not stop from taking part in a 42-kilometer race when she was nine months pregnant. Despite the fact that she was about to deliver a child, she decided not to change her passion for sport and participated in the marathon.

The memorable race was the eight one in her life. However, she could not neglect thoroughly the fact of her pregnancy. Miller managed to run only 20 meters, and she walked the rest of the distance, Vesti reports.

The pains of the sportswoman indeed got harder, after she reached the finish. She was hospitalized directly from the stadium. She successfully delivered a child of 3.5 kg and called her June. Miller confessed that after she crossed the finish she felt pains. However, she did not pay attention to it and even wanted to snack. Only after they got harder she realized she has to go hospital.
