The CIS countries have agreed on establishing a free trade zone, press service of the Russian government reports.

The document provides for abolition of export and import duties for groups of goods.

The document was signed by heads of government of eight CIS countries - Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan.

Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have to determine the degree of participation in the project by the end of this year.

Prime Ministers will continue work in Saint Petersburg.
