Concert in honor of Steve Wozniak held in Yerevan

YEREVAN.- A concert was held in Yerevan on Friday evening in the honor of Co-founder of Apple Steve Wozniak who arrived in Armenia to receive the Global Award of Armenian President for Outstanding Contribution to Humanity through IT 2011.

Wozniak arrived at the concert accompanied by his spouse Janet Wozniak, Vice President of Synopsys Rich Goldman, Director of Synopsys Armenia, member of the Armenian Public Council Hovik Musaelyan.

The works of Komitas and a number of foreign composers were performed.

Steve Wozniak is the second after Craig Barrett, CEO of Intel, to receive Armenian President’s reward for contribution to IT sector.
