The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ visit to South Caucasus would be another routine visit to South Caucasus, head of Information and Analytical Center for the Study of Socio-Political Processes in the Post-Soviet Space of Moscow State University Alexander Karavayev told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, the co-chairs cannot offer anything new in the context of conflict settlement.

“I do not expect anything new from this visit. Minsk Group co-chairs would hardly come up with fresh, previously untouched suggestions that could interest the both sides,” said the expert. “OSCE Minsk Group is a structure that has certain schedule and regulations. These can be changed depending on changes in overall world geopolitics, relations between countries, emerging and decreasing threats. If a new factor come about Minsk Group might use it, otherwise we should not expect any progress.”
