YEREVAN. -“Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund’s annual donation kicked off in Montreal, Canada, on November 12.

The event, which was organized under the auspices of Armenia’s Embassy in Canada, brought together leaders of local Armenian community organizations and leading private entrepreneurs, MFA Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The attendees were informed, in detail, about the Fund’s past and present projects and its still-unresolved matters.

Addressing those present, Armenia’s Ambassador to Canada, Armen Yeganyan, expressed a gratitude to them and noted: “Your participation is important, both in material and moral sense. It is only through the joint efforts of Armenia, Artsakh (Karabakh), and the [Armenian] Diaspora that it would be possible to surmount the challenges and the seemingly unresolved problems which the Armenian people face at the current phase of history.”
