YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Head of State, Serzh Sargsyan, on Tuesday received Philip Kotler, S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, in the United States.

Welcoming Professor Kotler, President Sargsyan expressed confidence that Kotler’s visit to Armenia would be beneficial for Armenia’s youth and business community, who are impatiently waiting for their meeting with the renowned Professor, Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.      

Stressing that marketing is extremely important for any country that is conducting a market economy in the modern-day world, Serzh Sargsyan welcomed Philip Kotler’s initiative to establish a regional marketing development center in Armenia.  

In his turn, Professor Kotler deemed marketing as a science and an art form alike, and noted he is prepared to gladly convey his respective knowledge to Armenia’s youth and businessmen.
