BAKU. - Moscow will hardly activate negotiation process over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in near future, Azerbaijani political analyst Arif Yunusov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The failure of Kazan meeting is not forgotten. This was Medvedev’s last effort to achieve settlement of Karabakh conflict (although, nobody ever thought or hoped for that while preparing the meeting) or rather to obtain a positive statement of the Presidents, even in a general, vague formulation, in order to use it for propaganda means in the future. However it all failed and Medvedev would not feel like this sort of meetings now. Neither will next President Putin mind for that: the attention of Russia’s leaders is now largely focused on domestic issues. We should not expect any news on the settlement in near future,” said the expert.
