TBILISI. – Armenia will build Iran-Armenia 400 kW high-voltage transmission line. The line will reach Georgia, Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan stated in Tbilisi on Tuesday. He visited Georgia with the delegation headed by the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
According to the Minister, high-voltage transmission line will give several opportunities to Armenia. For instance, Georgia and Armenia will increase the electricity supply in the opposite direction for about three times.
The other issue that the Ministers of the two states touched upon was the stable import of gas in winter, Movsisyan said.
