MOSCOW. – South Russian Diocese leader Bishop Movses Movsesyan and Armenia’s Kotayk Region Diocese leader Bishop Arakel Karamyan anointed St Gevorg church in Russian Georgievsk city, Stavropol Region on Wednesday, South Russian Diocese press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Kotayk Region Diocese leader passed the blessings of Armenian Catholicos to Armenians.

The church was built at late 18th century, but was destroyed by the communists. About 15,000-20,000 Armenians currently live in the city.
