BELGRADE. - Serbia supports Karabakh conflict settlement based on territorial integrity and equal rights and self-determination of peoples, reads the statement by Serbian MFA of Wednesday.

“Serbia welcomes the December 6th, 2011 Joint Statement by the Heads of Delegation of Minsk Group Co-Chair Countries and the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan made during the 18th Ministerial Council in Vilnius.

In 2009, during the Ministerial Council in Athens, all participating States, including Serbia, supported the Ministerial Statement of the 17th Ministerial Council in Athens on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement based on, inter alia, “the Non-Use of Force or Threat of Force, Territorial Integrity, and the Equal Rights and Self-Determination of Peoples.”

This is the position of Serbia which will remain unchanged once it assumes the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office,” the statement by Serbian MFA reads.

Serbia will chair the OSCE in 2014.
