YEREVAN. – Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be settled based on principles of international law and people’s right to self-determination, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan on Friday commenting on Lebanon’s position on Karabakh issue.

Suleiman also stated that Lebanon’s remains unchanged.

“Azerbaijan tried to discuss the issue at the Islamic conference session but we always spoke against the decisions condemning Armenia,” he said adding that the OSCE Minsk Group and superpowers should make all the efforts to reach peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
