YEREVAN. - Armenian Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan will celebrate New Year with his family and grandchildren.

“I cannot often see my grandchildren due to heavy work schedule,” he told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The Minister stressed that he often does New Year shopping himself and chooses presents and staff for holiday table.

“I usually buy presents for my grandchildren but they do not believe in Santa Claus. I like giving presents but not receiving them,” he added.

The Minister said his wife is a good cook adding that he usually receives many guests who come to taste delicious dishes cooked by his wife.

“I like to celebrate New Year in a good mood,” he emphasized wishing Armenian people peace in their families and in the borders.

“I want to see strong, powerful Armenia,” Karapetyan concluded.
