YEREVAN. - Symbol of 2012, the dragon, has the ability to breathe fire, therefore while decorating a Christmas tree and your house you should use many candles and flaming colors, designer Arman Davtyan, better known as NUR, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He advises that the house and Christmas tree should be decorated taking into account the design of the house, the atmosphere and all the details. NUR opposes following all the fashion trends, as he is confident that “doing the same things turns people into a dull mass.” Instead, the designer advised to focus on individuality.

As regards the Christmas tree, Davtyan advised making decorations out of some fabric, wood and so on. The designer himself prefers wooden decorations for his Christmas tree.

“It would be really nice if your tree turns national. Imagine, Christmas tree with national symbols,” Arman Davtyan said adding that the best way is to combine red, orange, dark blue, the colors of the Armenian rugs.

The designer also called not to cut down trees just for one day but to use artificial Christmas trees instead.
