BAKU. - Turkey is Georgia’s great friend and partner, in the political and economic sense alike, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili stated during his meeting in Tbilisi with a Turkish parliamentary delegation.     

In the Georgian President’s words, “relations between the two states are vitally important for Georgia.” 

“Turkey is continually assuming a more decisive role in regional and global politics,” Saakashvili also said, Trend News Agency of Azerbaijan reported, referring to Georgian President’s press service.
