YEREVAN. – Armenian spiritual leaders desecrate churches, head of the fund studying Armenian architecture Samvel Karapetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As an adverse case of caring for churches, the expert brings Iran’s example, which preserves Armenian cultural-historic heritage.

Regarding the common situation on the historic monuments in Armenia, Karapetyan said that the sphere has always had problems, while it became worse recently.
