YEREVAN. – Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan positively assessed Ministry’s work carried out this year. Meantime there is much to be done next year, Yeritsyan said at the Wednesday meeting summing up results of the year.

The Minister called to pay attention to the crowded entertainment facilities during the New Year Eve to ensure fireworks security, Ministry’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Citizens may dial 911 in case of emergency as Ministry’s Center for Crisis Management is operating fully, he said.

Yerevan will install five new seismic centers, as a result of cooperation between Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) within the framework of “Seismic Risk Assessment and Mitigation in Armenia” project.
