MOSCOW. – Russia, Europe, and later the U.S. will gradually recognize Armenians’ rights for their historic homeland, while Turkey has to reckon with it, said head of the Russian Liberal-Democratic Party Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
Zhirinovsky met with the president of “Russian-Armenian cooperation” regional organization Yuri Navoyan on Thursday.
Leader of Liberal-Democratic Party said that he supports the international recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenians continue a fair struggle for their rights, he added.
The Russian political figure is for the truth and it is on Armenians’ side, Armenian-Russian newspaper Yerkramas informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Navoyan congratulated Zhirinovsky with a larger number of seats in the Parliament and nomination for the presidential elections. He also added that Armenians are an integral part of the Russian society.
