Iranian police chief called Google search engine an ‘espionage tool’. The police chief announced about that during a press conference entitled ‘Iranian National Internet’.

According to Iranian media the police chief welcomed the creation of the Iranian national internet which will be able to operate individually without having any connection with the World Wide Web. The creation of the national internet was announced recently, Liberty radio informs.

According to the police chief, the national internet will keep information about Iran and its citizens secure.

“It can’t be allowed information about Iran to be used for bad purposes,” the police chief said.
