Founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg joined protests against Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect IP Act (PIPA) bills.

“The internet is the most powerful tool we have for creating a more open and connected world. We can’t let poorly thought out laws get in the way of the internet’s development. Facebook opposes SOPA and PIPA, and we will continue to oppose any laws that will hurt the internet,” he wrote on his Facebook account.

Also Twitter, e-Bay and Mozilla are against SOPA.

According to the SOPA bill, each source which is spreading illegal content can be disconnected under the court decision, no matter whether the owner of a website has any relation to it or not, RIA Novosti reports.
